'Stefan LeFors is our starting quarterback': Bomber coach

WINNIPEG — The waiting is over for Stefan LeFors and the fans of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The 28-year-old lefty is their starting quarterback.
"Stefan is our starting quarterback. He'll start against Montreal next week and he'll get more reps. He'll get more reps going forward. He's our starting quarterback and will start the season for us. I'm saying it now for all to hear, Stefan LeFors is our starting quarterback," said Bombers coach Mike Kelly as he addressed the media early on Thursday afternoon.
LeFors worked for one quarter in last night's preseason game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, a 32-22 win for Winnipeg, and Kelly saw all he needed to see as the third-year-pro put 19 points on the board and went 5 of 8 passing for 98 yards.
"I've known this for a while," said Kelly. "He did a good job last night and did the things I expected him to do."

Time is flying by

I can't believe we will be heading back to Canada soon. Our time home has flown by. We only have about two more months left at home and we will be heading to Winnipeg. We are very excited about the new town and team. We hope we can meet as many great friends that we have met everywhere else we have been =)

Yesterday we took Luke and Ella to the Dr. for checkups. Luke is almost 36 inches tall now and he is weighing 31 pounds. Big boy! He got a shot and didn't even cry. Ella is now 10 1/2 pounds and 23 inches long. She is the 75% for height and 50% for weight. I can't remember exactly the percentile Luke was in but it was over 50%.

We have just been hanging out, working out and getting things ready for Canada. Last week my sister in law, Maylia, came over and helped get some paintings done for Ella's room. Everything came out so good! We should be hanging up everything soon and once we do I will take some pics and post them.

One big happy nu-nu family! It's funny that we took this pic this past Saturday and took Luke's nu-nu away on Sunday. Well, we didn't take it away we just broke part of the nipple to see what would happen and he thought it broke. So, he threw it in the trash can and hasn't used one for 3 days and 2 nights now. Woohoo =)

Our new bundle of JOY

I have decided to join blogspot. I have another blog you can find at www.xanga.com/jiggajoy but decided I wanted something new. Now that we are a family of 4 I wanted to change the name to THE LE4S =) Hope yall enjoy and I will try and update as much as possible. For those of you that read my old blog know that I blog A LOT more while we are in Canada.

Ella turned 2 months yesterday and she is doing great! Luke has been doing fine with her but he just pretty much ignores her. Ha! Stefan has been working out and getting ready for Winnipeg. For those of you who don't know, he got traded from Edmonton to Winnipeg. We think the change will be a good one for him. And I have just been doing the mom thing which i love. We have 2 more months until we head back to Canada and we are ready for another football season!
